While Big Bird has likely been a happy and omni-present memory for most of you, did you know that he has famous cousins from all over the planet? That’s right – Sesame Street has been adapted into many different languages and cultures, and Big Bird’s extended family from those versions are now being immortalized in plastic thanks to these new Super7 ReAction figure blind boxes.
Yes, there is Big Bird, but there is also Pino from the Netherlands, Poupas of Portugal, Minik Kus in Turkey, Abelardo lives in Mexico, and in China, Da Niao! A colorful array of giant and friendly birds keep the messaging positive while embodying each culture more closely, and fitting in on the different streets of the world.
Super7 has brought each of them out here and with their signature colors and flair. These are not just Big Bird repaints, though – each bird has a unique portrait, and different legs when needed. Minik Kus even has a spiffy bow to bring the full look together. Here are the case break outs:

Di Niao is the mystery figure (he looks the most like Big Bird and is yellow) and is also 1/12. I got 6 of the blind boxes and got REALLY lucky with all the unique pulls, so I am pretty thrilled. This is a really fun way of adding a lot of color to your Sesame Street ReAction collection while giving us a vast array of new characters who have never had their due in figure form.
Now, there are still more cousins out there like Caponata from Spain, and fever dream Garibaldo from Brazil (be sure to look this dude up!), so hopefully we see more of these in the future.
